Trapped Book #Review New Suspense by Irene Hannon!

A runaway teen, a desperate sister, and an intrepid PI determined to discover the truth

When Laura Griffith's sixteen-year-old sister disappears on a frigid February day, leaving only a brief note behind, Laura resolves to do whatever it takes to track down the runaway teen. That includes recruiting ATF agent turned private investigator James Devlin to help. Dev knows time is of the essence with runaways--just forty-eight hours can mean the difference between recovery and ruin.

But the deeper he and Laura dig, the more Dev begins to suspect that something sinister is at work in the girl's disappearance. And in the icy winter weather, the trail is going cold . . .

MY REVIEW-Wowza! I am really in love with this new writing style from Irene Hannon! I have long enjoyed her books but I felt like they were all starting to sound the same. The characters were almost the same, plots were pretty much alike, etc. But this one goes way out of her normal style and I can't tell you how much I liked. it.

Trapped deals with a girl who runs away from home and then gets in with someone she never thought she would. Her parents are both dead but her sister instantly searches for her. Needless to say, Darcy thinks her sister, Laura, is too strict and she could be doing a lot more in her life. Of course, she is only sixteen and we all know what happens when teenagers end up on the streets.

So when Darcy disappears, Laura ends up hiring Pheonix Private Investigators and the person who helps her is Devlin. An irish red head who happened to be former ATF. He is handsome as all get out but also has a lot of guilt over something in his past. Needless to say, the sparks fly and they feel the attraction but the firm has a rule about dating clients so the relationship will have to wait until Darcy is found. The only problem is, Darcy is not be found and the leads are quickly disappearing. Will they find her before it is too late? And what will happen when the kidnapper comes after Laura?

Again, this is a great story and I really loved the characters and the plot drew me in right away. Finished in two days and can't wait for the next one!! Do we get to possibly see Connor tie the knot? Guess I will have to sit in anticipation:)
