ABOUT THE BOOK

Combat doctor Ian Shupe returns home from overseas with his most important mission: to raise his little girl. But Ian's a single dad, and working at Eagle Point's trauma center means having to find child care. When bighearted, struggling lodge owner Bri Landis offers babysitting in exchange for construction work, Ian accepts. He vows to keep his emotional distance from Bri, yet can't deny that his daughter is blossoming under her tender care. But is he ready to believe that his heart's deepest prayer may finally be answered?

MY REVIEW-It isn't often I run into a love inspired book that I fall in love with. But this was the case when I read Doctor to the Rescue by Cheryl Wyatt. This is an enjoyable read but also one that has some tearful moments. My favorite character was Tia, Ian's little girl. She is such a sweetheart who is struggling through something that even adults have a hard time handling. And the part about nekkid trees? You have to read it to find out:) You will meet many familiar faces if you read The Doctor's Devotion, like Lauren's grandfather, but you will also run into some new faces. I am hoping that Clara Lockhart is one of those who sticks around. I felt for her so badly. Like I said, an enjoyable read that you will find yourself picking up again and again.

I received a copy of this book for review purposes. I did not receive any monetary compensation. All thoughts are 100% mine.

This sounds like a great read. I couldn't tell by the cover - is this set in present day?
