Shaving Tips 101

Well, these are not exactly the greatest tips of all time, but they do get the job done:) The following tips are actually taken from my brother. So not sure how they work:D Just kidding! These are actually some tips he gave me but they sound somewhat close to what I use when shaving so check them out and let me know if they work.

1.First Thing is Hot Water.
This is one of those well known tips but it is amazing how many people shave using cold water. For me the warm water helps stop ingrown hairs and kind of moistens the face. This helps the shaving cream stick better as well.

2.Invest In A Good Razor.
I personally use a nice razor. This is a ProGlide razor and is a little bit more expensive but worth the price. In the long run it is better to pay a little more and have a razor that works well and will last a while. I know others who will swear by the electric shavers but I prefer this one.

3.Use Shave Gel.
For those who use shaving cream, please don't bite my head off or attack me, but I prefer the shaving gel. This one is pretty cheap and I get it from a company you order from online but I like it. It works well and the gel seems to work better than the cream.

4.Apply Aftershave.
A good aftershave will ensure you smell good and that you get a good moisturizing. This will help the next time around shaving:) Again, I like the cheaper one but you can always pay more to get a better brand. Aftershave is a definite must have for a guy!
